When one renounces all the wishes, it leads to meditation. To accomplish the wishes, one has to be dependent on others whereas to renounce the wishes one is independent. One should go for renunciation of wishes, instead of their accomplishment. With renunciation of wishes, one can become happy, healthy and contented right away. The more you increase the wishes they will keep on increasing and the more you decrease them they will be reduced. There is no end to wishes…

Era does not pass but we pass away, luxuries remain but we pass away, we burn ourselves to fulfill our wishes, to accomplish our wishes…
Much more happiness lies in renunciation of wishes than their accomplishment. One can become happy right away by renunciation of wishes instead of waiting for the period till they are accomplished.Who knows by the time the wish is accomplished, whether one will really be happy or not. So then why to do such a business where you don’t have any guarantee that you will be benefitted or not…
In the shops it is generally written – “Udhar nahi rokad” means goods will be lent tomorrow and only cash will be accepted today. So shopkeepers run their business and get profit through this technique today itself. Similarly you also go for renunciation of wishes, instead of their accomplishment and become happy and contented right away..
