In Her satsang (spiritual discourse), Shriji told villagers how to get rid of addictions and also motivated them to be cautious against these deadly habits; many people took a solemn vow in Her presence after Her divine speech and graciousness . There seemed to be drastic changes within villagers and they wished to quit addiction from their lives such as smoking, chewing tobacco etc. Their boundless joy and satisfied eyes were the proof of what they got from Shriji’s presence as there had been no one in their village like Shriji who had visited them to know their well being. They carried the things got in charity on their heads and left for their homes with extremely contented hearts. Shriji too took the farewell from villagers by showering grace through Her sight…

Masik Shivaratri (Monthly Shivaratri) – Prernamurti Bharti Shriji

Why is Shivaratri Celebrated?

Each Hindu festival is associated with many beliefs and mythologies, so is the holy day of Shivaratri. One belief says that Shivaratri is celebrated to commemorate the day when Lord Shiva consumed the deadly poison, which came out during Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean) Whereas, according to another belief, it is the day when Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married.

Let’s know the legend of Samudra Manthan in detail.
The legend of Samudra Manthan is the reason as to why Shivaratri is celebrated. It is said that once the devas (Gods) and asuras (devils) were churning the ocean of milk. During the churning process, several things came out of the ocean. Among all those things were a pot of poison. The poison had the potential to destroy the universe, which frightened the devas (Gods) and asuras (devils). To seek help, they ran to Lord Shiva, the Lord of destruction. Lord Shiva, in order to save the universe from the deadly effect of poison, swallowed it
but held it in His throat. This act resulted in Lord Shiva’s throat turning blue, for which he earned the name ‘Nilkantha’. To celebrate this event of Lord Shiva, Shivaratri is celebrated.

Masik Shivaratri Significance For Women

Throughout the country, the occasion of Shivaratri holds prime importance for the married women as well as young girls. On this day, women observe fast and worship Lord Shiva for the welfare of their husband and sons. Unmarried girls on the other hand observe fast and pray to Lord Shiva for a right match.

Specific Graciousness – Prernamurti Bharti Shiriji

Prernamurti Bharti Shriji__Specific Graciousness Specific gravity,Specific gravity of cement,Specific gravity of water,Specific gravity formula Graciousness ,Graciousness meaning,Graciousness synonym,Graciousness quotes
Prernamurti Bharti Shriji here inspires us to take advantage of this precious human birth and attain liberation with the specific graciousness of God…!!

Specific Graciousness

Sun does not stop rising, birth and death does not stop for anybody, river does not stop flowing, air does not change its direction and goes on blowing, then why do we stop reciting God’s name and listening to discourses?? It should also continue… When a sinner does not stop himself from doing bad deeds, then why should we stop doing good deeds??

Human body is mortal and seizes one day. The normal tendency of human body is to get destroyed; of mind is to become restless; of intellect is to give-and-take and that of soul is to be steady, liberated and happy always. So be in your soul always and experience that you are immortal even if your body gets destroyed.

There are 2 types of graciousness – general and specific. For instance, general knowledge like that of relations, etiquettes, etc.is attained by the grace of parents. But to attain specific knowledge, children are sent to school. And to attain more specific knowledge like that of graduation in a specific field, one has to take efforts to attain it.

Another instance is of sun. When sun rises, because of its general grace – everyone starts off with their daily work. But for the special grace of sun, one offers water to sun God, recites mantras, etc. So when you gain specific knowledge it works as specific graciousness. Similarly, there are millions and billions of human beings on this earth who are humans in general but if human wants to attain liberation then he has to listen to specific discourses, walk on the path of knowledge showered by Guru, and experience the specific graciousness of Guru within yourself – Guru Kripa. Then only human life is successful and human is eligible to be called as human.

It is the specific grace of God that he has made only humans eligible to achieve liberation from the cycle of 84 lakh births and deaths. So, why not take advantage of this precious human birth and attain liberation with the specific graciousness of God…!!
