Benefits of tulsi

Tulsi (Holy basil) is the symbol of enhancement  of happiness & prosperity and elimination of sorrows & poverty.

One who worships Tulsi by doing Aarti(devotional song) with kapur(camphor)and recites the following Mantras ,attains happiness and prosperity-

Dukkha daridraya nashini
Sukh saubhagya vardhini
Twam tulsi devyaii namo namaha.          

Shubhamkarotikalyanam
Arogyam dhana sampada
Shatrubuddhi vinashaya
Deepajyotir namo stute

Deepa jyothi parabrahma
Deepajyotir janaardanah
Deepohara tume papam
Sandhya deepa jyotir namostute

Karpur gauram karunaavtaaram
Sansaar saaram bhujagendra haaram
Sadaa vasantam hridyaravinde
Bhavam bhavaani sahitam namaami

Mangalam bhagwan vishnu mangalam garuda dhwaja,
Mangalam pundarikaakshe mangalaya tano hari.

Om Sarva mangala maangalye 
Shivey sarvaarth saadhikey
Sharnaye trayambakey gauri
Naaraayani namostutey
