Aim Of Life

There are two types of thoughts present in every human mind. Just like we have two types of water, one is holy water of river Ganges and second muddy water. We have to travel some kilometers for plunging into Ganges but there is no toiler or struggle  for plunging inside us, wejust have to sit quite, watching our  breath  and do some japa {remembering God’s name) and we become pure and hallow, any where & any time, there isno toil for it. Once Udiya Baba{a famous hindu saint} &his Saint friend Hari baba had gone to listen Bhagwat Katha with threedisciples. The narrator of Bhagwat Katha was telling about lordKrishna very nicely. Hari Baba was listening Katha with full concentration,  although Hari Baba himself was very good narrator & his listeners used to become estatic when they would listen to Hari Baba. Aftercompletion of the katha,  Hari baba asked his disciple that narration of Bhagwat was very good.. wasn’t it? We were overwhelmed, weren’t we?

You will notice that whenever you are outward you are more tense. All the problems occur when you are immersed into worldly bondages. The more you reside within yourself, you feel at peace .

Now coming back ..Haribaba askedsame thing again to his disciple..the disciple said “ yes that’s ok but there were so many blankets hanging on the back  it seemed as if the katha was all about blankets.”
Hari Baba was taken aback & said  with a question mark on His face “you were noticing blankets” ?
You didn’t say anything about katha,  what is your vision?
You didn’t noticed the  veneration and feelings of narrator. You were
just looking at blankets hanged & i was only concentrating at his spiritual emotions. You had gonefor what ? To listen to Bhagwat Katha or blanket katha?

Where at one side Hari Baba was filled with of love and devotion for God  after listening to  katha at the same time his disciple was engaged in the blankets. It’s misfortune of a disciple  who enjoy the physical company of  a Saint & not able to progress in religious & spiritual path, where his Guru { a spiritual master} wants to see him rising on the pathof spirituality .  Some times, it happens that the disciple who stays very far from guru, manages to take blessing and grace of  Guru & achieve the goal of spirituality. It hurts badly when people stay in ashram {a spritual monastry} give more importance to worldly pleasures than meditation . A true spiritual seeker thinks only about  his spiritual journey towards his path, he doesn’t  think anything else than this.

We wish, the people  who come in ashram will maintain the curiosity about God. If the people in ashram will not concentrate on spirituality then who will ? . Ashram is the place where we  should try to achieve our goal for what have left our homes. Let’s pray for ourselves  that our energy should not be wasted in worldly attractions and should get used in achieving our spiritual goals.
